Marlborough House is an enchanting, small establishment owned and operated by Peter Moore, in a friendly and informal style.

This large and impressive stone Victorian house has six well proportioned and spacious guest rooms which have all been furnished with antiques to create that individual period atmosphere.

All of our rooms are equipped with en-suite facilities and furnished with either an antique wood four-poster, or a Victorian brass and iron bed. All rooms also come equipped with all of the usual extras you would expect from a 4 diamond rated bed & breakfast; including colour television, radio/alarm, hair dryer, direct dial telephone and high speed internet access (WIFI).

Breakfast is cooked to order and served in either our elegant parlour or lovely dining room. Marlborough House specializes in organic foods which include a wide range of cereals, juices, yoghurts, fresh fruits and more. Should our guests wish to relax in the luxury of thier rooms breakfast can be ordered via room service.

Marlborough House is non-smoking throughout, as the proprietors and staff strive to keep the hotel environment as congenial as possible for all the guests.
