Since it was built in the 1840s the Grange has enjoyed a truly colourful history, it has transformed through the years through various guises.

After buying the Grange in 1997, we have slowly been restoring the property to its near original state. Period features which have been destroyed over the years have been sourced and replaced, and, if close matches can’t be found, reproductions commissioned from local craftsmen. Decoration has been carefully chosen to match the elegance of the original building and finishing touches like period furniture, sourced from fairs and auctions throughout the country.

Although restoration of The Grange has been hard and dirty work, some of the most difficult decisions have been choosing fabrics, fittings and colours for the three available guest bedrooms. We wanted to choose natural colour schemes that are sympathetic to the house and its beautiful parkland setting.

Each guest room has a spacious en-suite bathroom all and all are decorated to a very high standard, all rooms also have tea & coffee making facilities, tv's and cd/radio alarm clocks.

Each morning, a full English breakfast is served in the dining room with beautiful views over the garden and fields. Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements in advance.

The Grange can accommodate individual parties of up to six people.

Plenty of off road parking is available for our guests.
